Farewell Post

Unfortunately this will be the last post for this blog “RU Balanced”. With the current situation of sports, and schools everywhere, at least for the foreseeable future, it will be very difficult to produce content, that I feel is worth posting.

At times, maintaining this blog was definitely stressful, and there was a lot of late night grinding and editing happening. But I don’t think I’d change a thing. Throughout this entire process, I have gained so much experience in interviewing, and I could feel myself becoming more polished and smoother as I kept going. The skills I have learned in audio and video editing are also going to be extremely useful for me down the road.

Another huge positive takeaway for me was just how much you can actually learn when you go out, and just do it. I was a little apprehensive in the beginning because I was nervous on what to write about and who to interview. But once I finally settled on a beat, since I am passionate about the topic, it became easier and easier every time I wrote a piece. I hope this can serve as an inspiration for anyone who would like to start writing a blog, or maintaining a website. It always seems more challenging than it is, and once you get started, it becomes simple and enjoyable. All in all this blog was really fulfilling to keep up with, and I’m extremely grateful for the experience I got, and the lessons I received.
